All the food I had in California.

There’s a Shabu Shabu placed called Khan in Korea town in LA. Pretty decent and cheap for lunch ($10ish).

A pistachio macaroon from local bakery.

I had ramen at Irvine but the name of the place is escaping my mind right now. It was okay.

My friend took me to this sausage place called Brats Brothers. They had very interesting choices of sausages) they even had kangaroo sausage??) and ketchups (curry ketchup is actually really good). I just had a lamb sausage lol;; I didn’t feel like eating an exotic sausage..

Disneyland meal

Bibimnangmuen from ChoSun Kalbi. My fav Korean BBQ place in Korea town.

A local Chinese restaurant

And more macaroons. I think this one was taro flavor.

Yeah…I got fat XD;

The Tea Garden in Santa Clarita, CA

Haha, I’m finally getting around to posting things from my visit to California.

I love this place. They have so many different kinds of tea and yummy sandwiches :) and their scones are great! The one pictured above is a Nutella banana scone. It was delicious :D I might order some teas from their website. I like their chocolate teas.

Living 5 min walk away from a French bakery is not a good idea..I would like to update this post:That was the best macaroon I ever had in my short 24 years of life. Why does this place not make macaroons regularly?! ;_; I just wanna get another tart just to eat the macaroon part again…

Sprinkles Ice Cream @ Beverly Hills, CA

I didn’t know Sprinkles Cupcakes made an ice cream chain. My cousin was obsessing about how good those ice creams are so we went. I was bit disappointed that they didn’t have Pistachio or Mint Chip flavors that day (those are two of my favorite flavors) but I got the Butter Pecan flavor and it was really creamy and very yummy : ) I also had sample of their Banana flavor and it was surprisingly better than I expected. I would probably get that one if I’m down in California again.

Slaters 50/50 @ Pasadena, CA

We ordered fried pickles, fried mac & cheese balls, and sweet potato fries.
I thought fried pickles would be weird, but I actually loved them! (Then again, I love pickles). They were crunchy yet juicy : ) If you like pickles you should give them a try. Sweet potato fries were decent but I wasn’t a fan of the mac & cheese balls since they were a little too crunchy and dry.

My friend’s sister had the peanut butter and jelly burger. P&J in a burger may sound gross, but actually it was pretty decent o_O

I had the Hawaiian burger and it was the best Hawaiian burger I had so far!! :D It was delicious!! It even had egg and spam in it..and I love spam..and adding egg to the burger did wonders.

Anyway, you can even design your own burgers at this place and it’s worth checking out if you like burgers!

I was going through ttukbokki withdrawal (I had a dream about searching for ttukbokki places in Oregon!) and my aunt sent me instant ones!! Wooot!!This one is pretty decent : ) the sauce is kind of sweet and spicy so I like it.I was hoping they sold some at the H-mart here in Oregon but they don’t. (They do make it at the food court though…I should try that). Guess I will go buy a bunch when I return to California for Christmas break!
